First I would like to start off by saying I respect everyones views ,thoughts,and opinions about NWWA and I am not here to offend anyone. As assistant to
the NWWA GM Erik Hanson, I feel like it is my responsibility to support our promotion and our Wrestlers that are the heart of it. I know that there are some of
you that have personal issues with Dan and Debbie and take every oppurtunity to voice those issues. The great thing about this country we live in is we all
have the right to do that. But I am not here to debate or try to change your views or opinions about them I am here to say a few things about the NWWA
talent.....
Some people believe that in order to have a great promotion and talent that is considered great they have to be big in size, power houses , and be the
strongest of strong. I think that its more then that. I think great talent is defined by heart, endurance, passion, commitment, loyalty, hard work, and above
all RESPECT. I have just described the talent in the NWWA locker room. Its true we are not the biggest in size nor the strongest but the hearts that fill that
room every Saurday Night stand out above comparison. Each and everyone of them leave everything they have to give out there on that mat night after night
after night. Trainning and being disciplined and giving everything they have for something they believe in 100%. But yet all that is over-looked and trashed
upon over personal feelings towards Dan and Debbie. You think that by not coming to the shows and then discouraging othere people from coming it hurts Dan and
Debbie the most, their pocket-books as you say, but it does not. The talent and the hearts of NWWA are the victims. I am just saying if you are a true fan of
Wrestling and want a place to go on Saturday Nights give NWWA a chance. Come see for yourself. I promise you you will not be disappointed!!!!!
With that being said I have to admit I am a bit confused about something. I am not a wrestler nor do I claim to be one , I know that I am as they call very
"green" to the business, and I know that just because I am a woman I will still be treated the same as a man in the business. I respect and
understand all of those facts But what I dont respect and understand is the people who are hypocritical. Let me explain.....
People bash NWWA by saying they are not family-friendly, they allow their fans to be disrespectful to other fans, they are treated like **** at the door, etc
and nothing is done about it. The promotor aka Dan and Debbie along with the GM Erik Hanson sit down and take the fans concerns into consideration and realize
for the welfare of the fans and the future of NWWA somethings need to change and change immediately. So as one of the first orders of business as the newly
appointed GM , Erik Hanson address the fans and the locker room advising them of the new rules. It will no longer be tolerated or accepted for fans to
disrespect other fans , verbally abuse one another ,throw things, and all people associated with the promotion will conduct themselves in a professional
manger. If these rules are not followed there will be action to remove the problem or problems. Problems addressed and solutions put in place. You would
think the bashers who say nothing is ever done would respect the fact that some of their concerns have been taken to heart and that the Promotor aka Dan and
Debbie have realized change needs to happen BUT NO!!!!! Now those same bashers are complaining that NWWA is trying to dictate how fans can act and what they
can do, and the fans pay to see the show and should act anyway that want and so on and so on. WHAT the heck? Do you really even know what you want or are
you just not open to the fact that maybe people/things can change. Maybe not completely or in all the ways you think they should but still change.
Again I have meant no disrespect to anyone or their opinions. Let 2009 support all local Promotions and the talent in the PNW.

I'm pretty sure that everyone here can't stand the douche bags who hurtle insults at other fans and try to steal heat from the wrestlers. You have been
misinformed by someone; read previous posts regarding NWWA and I don't think you'll find anyone who thinks fans can "act any way they want".
They are there to cheer and jeer, period. Everybody here knows that, as far as I know.

Wrestlers can go work somewhere else if their feelings are hurt by people not attending and encouraging others to not attend. When you have shitty service at a restaurant, you tell people to not go there. When you see an awful film you tell friends to not see it. Wrestling is the same thing. This is not the uber-liberal society some dream of where it's illegal to hurt another's feelings. Buddy Rose hurt my feelings when I was a little boy and he choked out Top Gun by putting a plastic bag over his head. Al Madril made me really mad when he wouldn't shake my hand when I was 11. They never apologized. I kept going to Portland Wrestling. I spent my time and money to shoot and edit a show to help NWWA featuring the same Buddy Rose. I was turned away at the door with the equipment I paid for because my friend, Buddy Highway, was in my house when I was editing the previous NWWA show I shot for free to help them. You say fuck me and I say fuck you. You try to tell me who can be in my home?? Fuck yourself and the horse you rode in on. You waste my time & money, only to insult me?? Do you see where this is going?? "I am just saying if you are a true fan of Wrestling and want a place to go on Saturday Nights give NWWA a chance." Also, to insinuate that people here are not true wrestling fans because they protest NWWA is not going to win me over either (nor other I'd assume). Perhaps we are such strong fans that we promote the business over one particular promotion. Perhaps we think Dan & Deborah (and NWWA by affiliation) are a cancer that should be cut out of the wrestling business for the very sake of it. Or maybe no one here likes being treated like shit WHEN THEY ARE PAYING MONEY FOR A PRODUCT OR TO HELP BETTER THEIR LITTLE INDY SHOW!! Maybe Dan & Deborah should humble themselves and apologize to the folks who felt insulted rather than having others apologize, sympathize, empathize or grovel on their behalf. These people are the most forgiving in the world. As wrestling fans, they know it's their job to forgive the heels when they turn face. But it takes humility. |

Obviously, nothing anyone says is gonna change your mind Legit. I can respect that...you were done wrong and so I say hold that grudge as long as it works for
you. I was disrespected the first time Skilz and Daze ever showed up to help out NAWA, but with an apology and a handshake we were able to move beyond that and
now James Tiberious Skilz is not only the master of ceremony but among "friends" at NWWA. Yeah, friends. In my "decade of decadence" in the
pro wrestling world I've helped out a lot of promotions to inspire and motivate the boys in the back to be better. The guys in the NWWA promotion are
young, but there's room for improvement that I hope the dead pool invasion will help them recognize.
Look kids, if you have a beef with NWWA then nothing I or she or anybody says is gonna make you get over it. That's on you. But if you wanna see something unique, hopeful and optimistic then get over yourself and support this show. Or any show. Whatever. |

Well, I`ts been a while since I have had much to say on this board, but I know CCK and I got together several months ago and went to NWWA. the woman at the
door was rude, and we decided not to go in. I believe he posted about it.
A few months later, I went back by myself, and left during the second match as there were 3 fans who went overboard with the abuse. heckling the workers is one thing, but abusing other fansthat are there to see the show was uncalled for. You would not want to go to Ruths Chris Steakhouse, pay 75 to 100 for a dinner and put up with obnoxious children either. Now I will go back under my rock.

I've never seen anybody here bash or blame the talent at NWWA for the problems there. The problems have always been listed as the way the fans have been treated at the door or inside.

Please understand I mean no disrespect to anyone or their opinions/valid concerns. I looked back and I did state in my posting I was the assistant of the GM Erik Hanson. I did not use my name you are correct but it is my posting name. So please allow me to introduce my self. My name is Landry and I am the assistant to Erik Hanson, the GM for NWWA. As I stated in my response earlier I did not mean that your are not true or real fans of wrestling if you do not support and come to the NWWA shows. I was simply saying if you are true fans of wrestling in the sense you enjoy great matches and love the sport you should come check out the talent at NWWA on Saturday Nights. Obviously my wording has given what I was saying the wrong meaning. For that I am sorry. I have read several posts over the past few months stating that all the talent left NWWA and is now at DOA, the day the Illuminati left NWWA lost all its talent, things of that nature. Dont get me wrong DOA has some of the best talent out there and an all around exceptional promotion. I am clearing giving respect to the boys that have stayed with NWWA and have stayed loyal to the fans that do come every Saturday night. I know people have been disrespected at the door, I know fans have been disrespected by other fans and the promotion All of these are true. and I am sure so much more as well. I think for some people no matter how much change does or does not happen at NWWA that bridge has been burned. I just want people to be open minded that change can happen maybe not 100% or even as quickly as we think it should but that it can. I guess I get some of your point. Unfortunately though, when the owners are the problem how can it be fixed? I personally don't have a personal problem with "Dan and Deborah", but it seems that more than a few people have been impacted negatively by them. Also, since you're new around here I'll gladly tell you that there are a few people here that will give you an honest and unbiased opinion (Harley, CCK, Jarrod) and in Jarrod's case he even gives the benefit of the doubt and does his best to not be Negative. So when those three guys are flat out telling you that the door person is rude.......... I'd be inclined to believe it. Anyways, it looks like I'll be at an NWWA show soon so I can "give them a fair shot". |

I have gone to some shows the wrestlers are great.but the promoters suck. Im a big cw fan and stopped going after the way his wife was treated If they treat

Marilyn Manson has sucked for soooo long now it's flabbergasting!! He should have quit after Portrait of an American Family & Smells Like Children.
On the other hand, I just picked up this great television series called Dinner for Five. Manson says that the best strip club he has ever been to is the Acropolis in Portland, OR. |
