The book will be completed. We were about 3/4 done with it at the time of his passing, and with the help of some of his friends I can easily finish up the
remainder of it. We have a publisher lined up, and as soon as it's completed we will let everyone here know.

Thank you.
I know I want a copy as soon as it's published, as I'm sure many others here do as well. |

I had the great pleasure of refereeing Buddy Rose about 9or 10 times, some for ECCW in Vancouver and some for Pete Schweitzer's PNCW. I remember a card
in Tillamook where Buddy wrestled Michelle Starr and Buddy came up to me afterwards and said I reffed a great match. I will never forget Buddy as he always
showed me respect at shows and always shook my hand after a match. (Young wrestlers learn...always tell the ref thanks and shake their hand after a
match...it's old school and something that always happened early in my career, and still to this day with the vets, but seldom happens these days)
something to carry on for the next generation. Mark Watson The Ref of the NW

I haven't been here since I hear about the passing of the Playboy. He was truly one of the greats, and my favorite Pro Wrestler ever.
I first got into Wrestling right about the time the Playboy started in the PNW. My Dad and I would watch him together every week. My Dad would do this real soap opera announcer voice and say "And now, the continuing saga of Playboy Buddy Rose". Those were some of the best times we ever had together. Now, both of them are gone. I really wish I would have had the chance to meet Buddy and tell him that I loved his skilled work. He is the reason I became a fan, and will always be a fan of Pro Wrestling. RIP Buddy, you touched a lot of lives, and lived a lot of life. Their will never be another like you. |

WWE has posted a video clip of a match between Buddy and Curt Hennig from their run in the WWE back in the early 80s:
