I was used to using a regular
camera, 20 years ago, with high speed film and tweaking the shutter speed, to take my photos for the wrestling magazines. I now have a Canon Rebel XTi, like
Strick's. I emailed him and asked him for pointers. He told me to KISS (keep it simple, stupid). Instead, I read the instructions and proceeded to
program stuff into the camera. Because of this, I shot 1011 photos and only got what you see here that was good enough to post. I hope to do a lot better
next time. Thanks.
I also found out I need to get an extra memory card. I had a 4 gigabyte card, and filled it up. While transfering it to my laptop, I missed Iron Buddha losing his heavyweight belt to Dash Venture. During the last match, for the vacated tag belt, some rookie worker kept telling me to keep away from the ring. I kept telling him that I had been up there all night, and I was going to shoot this last match. He tried to tell me that I was in the workers way. I told him that this was the only way to get the shot and to buzz off. He finally got tired of bugging me and left me alone. Because of this, I missed half of the match. I guess the kid doesn't see matches when the Japanese photographers are there. They are right up on the apron, with their lens in the ring.
