"Meanstreak" Mike Dempsey & "Heartthrob" Erik Hanson d. Draven Vargas & Stony McPiper
We at the WC have a saying: "You never know who might show up, nor what might happen," and this match certainly proved that. Not only did we see the WCWC return of the "Heartthob" after a two-year hiatus, we also saw Stony McMoverson take on his newest form: wrestling legend "Rowdy" Roddy Piper! Channeling the spirit of the Rowdy Scot, Stony had the match won when he locked Dempsey in a Sleeper! But thanks to a joint effort from Hanson and manager Brian Zane, Dempsey was able to get free of the deadly hold and take Stony out with a Pumphandle Cutter to pick up the win for his team.
