Bolo wins the "Rags to Riches Beat the Clock" Gauntlet
This gauntlet match with a twist proved to be a test on many levels for all competitors involved. Not only did the wrestlers have to prepare to fight multiple wrestlers one after the other, they also had to eliminate each wrestler in under 2 minutes each, or they would be eliminated as well! Erik Baeden was one of the first to enter the match and looked strong against Mr. USA 2 and El Tuscon, but was unable to put Tag Team Co-Champion Mike Santiago away before time expired. The next four wrestlers involved in the match each suffered the same fate, unable to put anyone away before the 2-minute bell rang. Eventually, Tag Team Co-Champion Bolo stormed the ring and business picked up. Bolo managed to eliminate several opponents in quick succession, until Dr. Kliever emerged as the final participant in the Gauntlet! Kliever and Bolo took each other to the limit, and as time quickly evaporated, it looked as if neither man would win the match. Suddenly, however, Bolo rolled up the "Good Doctor" from out of nowhere and picked up the three count with only seconds to spare! Bolo now had the choice to receive either: A) $5,000 cash, B) a match of any kind against the opponent of his choice, or C) the ability to make a match of any kind pitting any other two WCWC wrestlers against each other. Bolo would make his decision later in the evening.
